Dark Sky fixtures #1333 & #1327 — Dark Sky Lanterns #1327 DS & 1333 DS

It is with this dedication that we are highlighting 2 lanterns from our Dark Sky friendly collection; Lantern #1327 DS LED and Lantern #1333 DS LED. Both lanterns are constructed of cast aluminum, with their electrical components, LEDs and drivers installed within the head of the fixture. Thus ensuring light output is reflected down, illuminating the area below, with no upward light spill or extraneous illumination. We work hard to make sure our lighting, once installed, does not add to any existing skyglow.

The LED elements, including the diodes, drivers, and electrical components, are installed in the fixture’s head. This ensures lighting illuminated down with no light spill over 180 Degrees. The International Dark-Sky Association is working to protect the night skies for present and future generations. As Primelite continues to do our part to help promote dark skies, this week we introduce another in our “Dark Sky Friendly” series of street lights, #1325 LED40. With its LEDs nestled in the fixtures top, the light faces down while avoiding any uplight light-spill, helping to avoid any significant addition to light pollution.

The included 4 x LED10s give a pleasant brightness and is perfect in any urban, suburban or commercial exterior situation. Parks, parking lots, walkways, town squares, sidewalks would all benefit from the cost saving of our LED street lights. The street light fits any of our 3″ posts.
